Door with Window

I heard that a window shouldn't be facing a front door. Someone suggested to hang a crystal in front of a window. But, the area where my window is-it's in the fame area (red, fire). And, I know that I shouldn't put crystals in the fame area because it waters down the fire. Do you know anything about this? I'm wondering if I can't put crystals in my fame area, what can I put?

Yes, it is not " auspicious " to have a window face a front door. The rationale is that beneficial ch' is suppose to be allowed to circulate around the house. With a window, it will flow `out' of the window without first having to `meander' along the home.

The best remedy is to use curtains or "blinds" and where possible not open the window especially if it is in a direct line with the main door.

Presently, do not put crystals in the frame area. As you have mentioned on the surface, this contradicts the 5 elements theory of the fire element and water element (crystals) clashing with each other. Without further knowledge as to Feng Shui numerology (not compulsory thou). ie. Flying Star, best to leave it as it is and not place a crystal.
